About Sinclair Fine Art Printing
The Process
I scan original artwork on a high resolution fine art/graphics scanner and print on acid free fine art paper through large format 12 colour archival printers which are capable of printing 99% of all Pantone colours. The scanner, monitor and printers are all fully colour managed. This combination surpasses the Fine Art Trade Guild’s giclée standards
I achieve a final accurate colour balance by test printing and adjusting as necessary by reference to the original until I am satisfied with the accuracy of the colours.

I can copy artwork which must remain behind glass by high resolution photography using angled strobe lights arranged to avoid any reflection. My scanner, monitor and printers are profiled and calibrated, providing a fully colour managed system to ensure accurate colour reproduction.

Your Artwork
You can bring me your original artwork if you are near the Wirral or post if you are elsewhere in the UK. If you are a digital artist or you already have a high res scan or photograph of your artwork, you can send a TIFF, PSD, BMP or JPEG, at a high resolution, 300dpi is good, by WeTransfer or Dropbox.
Prices
The scan and colour balance costs £20, a one-off cost.
I can scan images up to 1.5 metres by 1 metre. I photograph larger originals using high resolution photographic equipment, also £20 each. I can produce prints on fine art paper or canvas up to 1.2m x 2m or larger.
I only use the best fine art papers such as Hahnemuhle Photo Rag 308gsm or Permajet Omega Rag 310. I also print on Innova 380gsm matte canvas

Prints on fine art paper cost from £6 for A4 to £40 for A1. Other sizes are charged pro rata.
Prints on canvas will have an extra 8cm all round for stretching but generally work out about 10% cheaper than prints on paper.
